Managed Benefit Contracts

Marty Layne Associates is a provider for all major insurance plans and will bill for diagnostic testing and hearing aids where applicable. In addition, Marty Layne Associates is the Preferred Provider for a number of managed benefit contracts negotiated through American Hearing Aid Associates. We also have an outstanding hearing aid benefit plan with several local employers.

Specific Plans:

Maine Elks Association discount program: Members receive a 25% discount off manufacturers’ suggested retail prices on hearing instruments, or $250 off our usual and customary prices on each hearing device (whichever is the greater discount). The program includes quarterly cleanings and adjustments, yearly audiologic screenings, and yearly hearing aid evaluations. First-year loss/damage insurance is included, and first-year repair warranty (two years on some models). Repair and/or loss and damage replacement renewal options are available. Batteries are provided for the life of the hearing aids (two packages per quarter).

Maine Knights of Columbus discount program: Members receive a 25% discount off manufacturers’ suggested retail prices on hearing instruments, or $250 off our usual and customary prices on each hearing device (whichever is the greater discount). Shaw’s Employees program: Employees receive 32% off MSRP or $300 off our usual and customary prices. Includes quarterly cleanings, yearly audiologic screenings, yearly hearing aid evaluations, first year repair warranty, loss/damage for first year, batteries for the life of the hearing aid (2 packages per quarter).

Nissen Baking Company Retirees in Local 334 program: Retirees receive a 10% discount off our usual and customary prices for hearing instruments. An additional $1000 benefit is available through their insurance plan, which we bill through our office. The contracted program also includes free batteries for the life of the hearing aids, quarterly cleanings and adjustments, yearly audiologic screenings and yearly hearing aid evaluations. First-year loss/damage insurance is included, and a one or two-year repair warranty, depending on the type of hearing instrument.
