Marty Layne, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Layne has been practicing Audiology for over 25 years. Layne is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Hearing Aid Association. She has served on the Executive Council of the National Hearing Conservation Association, which awarded her the Threadgill Award for Outstanding Service in 1991 and the President’s Award for Distinguished Service in 1996. Layne is an editor of the Noise Manual and past editor of Spectrum, the Journal of the National Hearing Conservation Association. Marty recently received the 2009 President’s Award from the American Hearing Aid Association. This award is given yearly to a practice which shows exceptional performance and growth.
Kristie Iacuessa, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Iacuessa has been practicing Audiology in the state of Maine since 2002 and has been with Marty Layne Associates since May of 2007. She received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University in Philadelphia. She served for three years on the Maine Academy of Audiology Executive Board and continues to be actively involved in the Academy. Dr. Iacuessa is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Abagail Forcier, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Forcier received her Doctor of Audiology from the University of Rhode Island. She has worked at the Connecticut Veterans Affairs Medical Center as well as the University of Rhode Island Speech and Hearing Center, and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Maine Academy of Audiology.
Mary H. Ross
Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser
Mary Ross is a licensed hearing instrument dispenser. Receiving her Maine license in 1989, Mary has been providing hearing help for people in the southern Maine area for over nineteen years. Mary is well-versed in all aspects of hearing aid dispensing, fitting and repairs.
